Beach Church Family,

Since I shared the vision for this year’s Christmas Offering this past week, I have been reminded of all the incredible ways God has moved through Beach Church—and I want to share just a few more of these stories with you.

Scott and Laura’s Journey
Scott and Laura first connected with us online before moving to Myrtle Beach. Though they struggled to find community at first, they joined a Life Group and our worship ministry after attending a July 4th party. Scott has joined the worship team as a guitarist, bringing his talent and enthusiasm to every Sunday service. Laura has become one of our vocalists, and her genuine warmth and joyful presence have added so much to our worship experience. Seeing them go from first-time guests to connected members is a powerful illustration of how God is moving!

Restoring a Marriage
During our When I Said I Do series, we welcomed a couple from another local church who were barely holding onto their marriage. Their pastor shared with us that their relationship was so strained that they wouldn’t sit together in church. But they heard about our Marriage series, and attended each week! The week after our series ended, they were seen back in their home church, sitting side-by-side again. God is moving through our church and reaching beyond our walls to touch lives all across our community!

At the Water’s Edge
Year to date, we’ve witnessed 180 baptisms—with 128 of these at the beach. I recall a powerful moment watching a young woman step into the ocean who had been battling addiction. She showed up alone that day, with fear and uncertainty on her face. I think she didn’t feel like she could really start over. But she placed her faith in the Lord and stepped into the water anyway. When she came up out of that water, fear and uncertainty were gone. Tears, laughter, a mix of relief and joy—you could almost see the weight lifting off her shoulders. Her baptism was her declaration of freedom. God met her there in that water, and I’ll never forget it.

God is Not Finished with Beach Church!

These stories are just a glimpse of what God is doing. Your generosity, prayers, and excitement are making these moments possible. Let’s continue to move forward together, and trust God to do even greater things in the future.

For this year's Christmas Offering, our goal is to be debt-free by eliminating our $571,169 mortgage and the $16,400 we pay each month. Imagine what we could do with those resourcesmore ministries launched, more families supported, more lives changed in Myrtle Beach and beyond. Once we lift this burden, we can focus even more on how God desires to use us to lead people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus, expanding His Kingdom locally and globally.

If you feel led to be part of this, here’s how you can take the next step:

Pray: Please pray for God to continue leading us and blessing this effort. Every prayer makes a difference.

Give: If you feel like God is nudging you to give, you can do that now by clicking the button below. Even small gifts can make a big difference—each contribution brings us closer to lifting this burden and allowing us to do more of what God is calling us to do. Or, if you prefer, you can give during our Christmas Offering on December 22nd at our 9:30 or 11:15 services.

God has greater things ahead for us. Let’s keep stepping forward with a living faith that believes our God can move mountains!

GOD IS MOVING!

Pastor Joe
