You're invited to join a global community of over 7 million individuals who've embarked on a journey of freedom, all ignited by the transformative power of Jesus Christ. Come join us on this journey through the 8 foundational principles of Celebrate Recovery, rooted in the Beatitudes found in Matthew 5.
What is Celebration Place?
Celebration Place happens at the same time as Celebrate Recovery and allows everyone to attend that wouldn’t be able to without childcare, while providing an opportunity for children K-5th grade to be in community and discover their own pathway to healing.
Celebration Place is a 52-week program that mirrors the Celebrate Recovery one-year, large group teaching schedule and curriculum plan. This means that while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness at Celebrate Recovery, their kids are discovering the same truths in age-appropriate ways at Celebration Place.
Pastor Shawn Norton
In 1999, Beach Church set its sights on launching Celebrate Recovery and extended an invitation to Pastor Shawn and his wife Marlene to become part of the founding CR team. Since then, their unwavering commitment to this impactful ministry has endured. After three years, Pastor Shawn took on the role of Ministry Director, a path Marlene also joined.
Fast forward to 2017, Pastor Shawn was formally ordained by Beach Church as the Pastor of Celebrate Recovery. Across the span of the last 22 years, Pastor Shawn has borne witness to the profound metamorphosis of innumerable lives, families, and relationships, facilitated by the grace of God and the guiding force of Celebrate Recovery.
